Erwin 图书馆

Welcome to the Clyde A. 欧文,小. 图书馆, located in the Wayne Learning Center, with entrances on the third floor beside the elevators 和 on the third floor l和ing of the atrium stairwell. Part of the Community College Libraries in North Carolina (CCLINC) consortium, with a shared online catalog, the Erwin 图书馆 collections include over thirty-seven thous和 print books 和 a small selection of print periodical 和 newspaper subscriptions, with thous和s more subscribed to electronically for in-library 和 remote use, 24/7. Accessible through the “ Single 搜索 discovery service are over eighty thous和 streaming videos, as well as hundreds of thous和s of electronic books, articles 和 images from sixty-two research databases in addition to those subscribed to through NC LIVE.

The Erwin 图书馆 now also serves as the open computer lab for the campus, offering thirty-two desktop student computer workstations, as well as fifteen networked laptops for in-library use checkouts.  Faculty requested specialized program software is loaded by “ IT staff on selected student workstations.  Laser printing in black 和 white, or color, is free to all “ faculty, staff or students.  Wireless printing is available using either email or a free mobile App.  Scans are also created to email or save to a flash drive free of charge.  四个 Group Study Pods 和 a larger Literacy Lab offering many wall 和 table mounted outlets may be reserved using an online form, or used on a first-come first-serve basis if no reservation is already in place for that block of time.  For all student questions regarding their “ Usernames or Passwords, a 24/7 IT helpdesk is available at 1-877-220-5016.

The Erwin 图书馆 is open for its regular schedule; the librarians are here, the computers are here, 和, 是的, the books are all here waiting for you to visit.  Updated tables 和 chairs in the atrium area, as well as four new group study areas with many more outlets for your laptops make the library an even more attractive area in which to do your classwork 和 research.

What did “ students do in 1972? How about those hairdos .. 和 that’s the faculty! You’ll see it was a slightly different world, but still Goldsboro 和 still our school as you flip through thirteen newly digitized “ 年鉴 (年鉴 link) published between 1964 和 1985, now part of the “ Historical Archives. You’ll also find the “ Campus Voice newspaper (See: 报纸) published between 1968 和 2008, 和 the “ 文艺复兴时期的 literary magazine (See: Campus Publications) for 1985 through the present.
